About Barca Tapas
Barca Tapas Spanish restaurant is located in the heart of Glasgow City Centre (just off Buchanan Street in Princes Square), offering a unique mediterranean food and drink experience. Our restaurant has been celebrating it's 10th successful year in 2015, so come along and savour the flavours of authentic Spanish tapas, expertly prepared to order. Dine on one of our terraces and enjoy the “al fresco” atmosphere of Princes Square, relax in our bar with a cocktail and bar bite or move through to the main restaurant with it’s beautiful, Spanish inspired decor.
All our food is sourced from the best high quality suppliers and our wines and Cavas are all authentically Spanish. Try our famous cocktails all prepared using premium brands by our expert bar tenders.
Disappointed that my favourite potatoes have been taken off the menu
Really lovely food, great location and fab staff
Have eaten Tapes in Barça many times and never been disappointed. The house wine (rosé) is a good wine. It’s difficult to choose 5 tapas to share as the choice is extensive, but as a result there is something to suit everybody’s taste. The staff don’t rush you.
I visit Barcelona for work and have done so for a number of years and I can state with hand on heart that the food at Barca Tapas is the best outside Barcelona. This is our second visit and will not be the last.
Very tasty dishes, nice sangria and always friendly staff. Among our favourite restaurants, we would be going more often if the prices were a bit lower. Especially since the portions are tiny, we hardly ever go without a voucher.
Still a favourite place for us. Still concerned about the price rise on the cocktails.
Cocktail masterclass was good fun.
Not the warmest of welcomes with 4 staff around but not even an acknowledgment. Had to say to one of them after standing at the desk. Food and atmosphere was good though.
Great as always
Visited for the first time in a long time on Saturday. The very busy restaurant is a testament to how good this place is. We had excellent food served by friendly and helpful staff. There are so many more dishes on the menu that I’d love to try. Thoroughly enjoyed it all and it will be somewhere we’ll return to very soon.
Excellent food and service.
Cava rather pricey for a bottle at almost £28
This was our first visit. We really enjoyed dining on the terrace, the atmosphere was lovely. We hope to return again soon.
Dined on the Itison 5 tapas and bottle of wine deal. Lovely food, great setting and wonderful friendly service.
Always enjoy coming here. Tapas are gorgeous.
Would recommend, but don’t purchase vouchers. Used Itison voucher and portions very small. Would have been better purchasing from menu and paying full price
Great choice of Tapas and beautifully cooked and served. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Food was superb with excellent service too.
Have visited several times but was a little dissapointed with some of my favourite dishes not available such as cod and even tortilla! The last of the twelve dishes arrived after all other dishes were finished !
Lovely food and great service
Enjoyed all the tapas i had chosen but the only downside was the cheese board it was awful as a cheese and wine lover it was terrible. Staff could be friendlier and a little more approachable.
always lo e ur here simply the best Spanish tapas in Glasgow
