Need somewhere to please everyone from Grandma, to the teenager, to the toddler, we can help you out. Here’s a list of the best family-friendly restaurants in Glasgow, all offering something for everyone.

DiMaggios

An Italian classic in the heart of Glasgow, if someone’s craving pizza, pasta, or someone’s trying to be healthy, DiMaggio’s has it all. The kids menu has loads of choices, among others, cheese and tomato pizza, the classic pairing of chicken goujons and chips, and the ever faithful mac and cheese. There’s a gluten free menu, a party menu, and a cocktail menu as well, perfect for all occasions. If it’s been a long day, we recommend a long island ice tea, or if you’re driving, try the nojito. Secure your spot for all the family, and book now.

WEST on The Green

A day in the park should always end with a delicious meal, and a cold beer for the parents. WEST on The Green is a restaurant attached to WEST brewery where you can find delicious German-bierhalle-inspired food, like currywurst, Jager schnitzel, burgers, and the charcuterie platter is perfect if you’re running around and don’t want your food to go cold, it has a selection of German cured meats, fresh bread, pickles, and olives. The kids menu has kinder schnitzel, a wee burger, and the healthy Mini Munch platter with bavarian ham, veggie sticks, freshly baked bread, and hummus. The restaurant is nice and big and airy, and the beers are second to none. Dine outside in the summer for a delicious alternative to a picnic.

Ox and Finch

Small Plates, Fine Dining, Scottish, Vegetarian Friendly

If you’re a family that likes trying new types of food, then Ox and Finch is where you need to try next. Their small plates menu means that you can order lots of dishes, so the fish fanatic can taste the crab and crayfish cocktail, the meat maniac can sampled the braised ox neck, and the veggie can give the roasted beetroot and squash with whipped feta. If you’re worried about what the kids will like, see this as a chance for them to try something new, and if all else fails there’s chips.

Stack & Still

Who doesn’t love pancakes? Take the family out for lunch to enjoy a sweet or savoury treat at Stack and Still. Plus, kids eat free 8am-6pm everyday. They can choose any pancake and a topping, we’re talking nutella, bananas, and hot fudge sauce, or they can go savoury with cheese, meatballs, or peppers, for example. Book ahead to make sure you get a big enough table.
